Dr. Martinez was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Since he could remember, he would see himself finding creative ways to solve other people's problems. At a young age, his family moved to Miami, Florida. He completed his elementary and middle school education at Saint Brendan Catholic School, where he graduated Valedictorian. He completed his high school education at Christopher Columbus High School, an all-boy Catholic prep school, where he graduated in the top ten percent of his class. For his scholastic and civic activities, he was inducted into the National Honor Society of Secondary Schools.

Dr. Ciro Martinez II, as a result of his formal education in business, accounting, law, international business, and international law finds himself working in International Commodities, and the legal services industry, specifically in commercial litigation, general civil litigation, foreclosure defense, and business law, along with trust and estate planning, and wealth management, both domestically and internationally. As well as being in the Law profession, he initially worked in domestic and international banking, the finance industry, and is entrepreneurial. Dr. Martinez also has extensive experience in real estate as an investor, developer, and held two real estate broker’s licenses in Florida and Vermont and was a licensed mortgage loan originator. In addition to his practice of Law he is also involved in the Medical and Nutraceutical industries. He has nutritional and medical patents.

Based out of Florida, Dr. Martinez has been published and lectures. He is a published author of three publications: ‘What Attorneys Need to Know About The Subprime Mortgage Crisis’; ‘Investing in Precious Metals in Times of Economic Stress’; and ‘Retirement in a New Environment’, see his publications on (http://www.ibls.com/). He is currently serving on the board of standards for American Academy of Financial Management (http://www.aafm.us/globalboard.html) and for American Academy of Project Management (http://www.aapm.eu/). He also volunteers his time with Cross International (http://www.crossinternational.org/) and is active with the Knights of Columbus and Saint Andrew Catholic Church.

Dr. Martinez is a national board-certified E-Commerce Consultant and Chartered Wealth Manager. He holds a BA in Finance and International Business from Florida International University, an MBA in Accounting and Ph.D. in Business Administration from Washington University, a JD from Northwestern University School of Law, an LL.M. in International Taxation and Financial Services, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and a Bacharelado em Direito from FAIT. Dr. Martinez is member of the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (OAB), American Bar Association, Vermont Bar Association, and The Florida Bar.
