Message to All of our students
We at Cavalla International University would like to inform you about the seriousness of the Corona Virus or Corvid-19. We want to let you know that we are thinking about you. We want you, your family and friends to be safe and well. We want you to do everything possible to avoid being contaminated by the virus and to follow the advice provided by your local health experts and your local authorities. Please remember that those authorities are doing everything to prevent the virus from spreading and subsequently to safe the lives of many people. Therefore, it is very important for everyone to listen and follow their guidance.
Here are few things to know about the Corvid-19 Virus. First, it is highly contagious and can be deadly. Reports indicate that many people have died due to this virus. Simply put, contracting this virus could lead to your death and those closed to you. Secondly, it can cause a person to experience an unbearable cough, very high fever, severe fatigue and severe difficulty breathing (serious cases). Third, the symptoms are not always evident. For some it may take days or couple of weeks for it to manifest itself. During this period a person could contaminate family members, friends and others. Thus, contributing to the illness of innocent people and even causing their death.
Many health authorities have suggested few things to in order to protect yourself and those around you. These few preventives measures are as follows but not limited to those listed below:
- Practice social distancing, which involves the following: stay away from people as much as possible, stay at home if you are not considered an essential worker and don't have medical emergency for being out, avoid crows, wear masks when you are out, wash your hands well with soap for about 2 seconds, and use hand sanitizer or alcohol if you are out and do not have means to wash your hands with water. Finally, please avoid touching your face. People are easily contaminated when the virus enter their noses, eyes and mouths. Please do all you can to avoid touching your face. This may safe your life and those around you.
- The covid-19 virus is nothing to take for granted. We at CIU are very concerned about you all. We want to wish you well and we want you to do all you can to protect yourself and those around. While you may not be able to visit public libraries; we would like to encourage you to take this time to do your research work online and by any means available to you.
